"Updating my review from a 5 star review to a 3. I went in the other day for a quote and everything was fine until I shared my opinion of insurance and how expensive it has gotten. Admittedly, I do not know how the insurance world works and why it’s so expensive. Most consumers don’t. However. The delivery of the education I received from BJ Jordan when he came out of his office to set me straight was aggressive and uncomfortable. While I’m sure most of what he was saying about how the insurance industry works is true, the aggressive attitude turned me off. I’m entitled to my opinion on how I feel like the industry is unfair to consumers, and certainly he is entitled to defend his position from his perspective. I just felt like it could have been a little more respectful. The interaction did not start with him but he sure set me straight. I appreciate the advice on insurance and it makes me want to give him my money because he seemed so knowledgeable. However. I don’t think I could deal with the domineering attitude I saw when asking for advice. Weird thing is that I was one of his customers for years and never saw this side of him before."

"Terrible and Disappointing Experience. I was quoted one rate, but after signing up, my premium suddenly increased. First, they blamed a license suspension (which never happened), then an “ongoing claim,” even though the claim was fully resolved. I repeatedly asked for the MVR report they used, the reference number, and the reporting agency’s details — but they never provided anything, showing a serious lack of transparency. Completely unprofessional. I tried to resolve this through weeks of communication, but in the end, I had to change my agent. Avoid at all costs."

"Insurance Agents do not actually offer any proper benefits. They are not insurance policy under-writers. They do not handle claims. They can not actually help you with claims. This agency was not helpful at all! The only thing they did was read my policy and argue for Statefarm. I am still fighting Statefarm over their deceptively low estimate for replacing my roof, after four roofing companies gave estimates, for storm damages. The claims adjusters are not actual qualified for basically anything, (my views) other than making bad decisions. The two Statefarm claims specialists I had to work with were not roof experts (their words), and the 3rd party SeekNow employee was not a roof expert (actual roof expert words). I had an actual roofing expert meet the 'inspector', and the inspector still denied or improperly documented damages. I felt that Statefarm implies the 'drag out the claims to the last minute, then deny' concept like United Healthcare, USAA, and AllState does. This method makes it harder on the homeowner. Lastly, remember, by using an agent, your policy premium is higher because you pay for them to put your information into an online portal, that you can literally do yourself."
